“Queen Victoria is dying and assassins are plotting to kill royalty coming to the funeral. Montmorency and friends are chasing them and are bent on killing the culprits, especially because one of their friends was murdered by them. They begin to learn that revenge killing wrecks as much damage on the seekers as the villians. I liked that twist.”

“This is the most dark story in the series. Montmorency becomes even more like the Count of Monte Cristo in his persuit of revenge.”

“Epic ending. Made me go 'whoa'. Didn't particularly like it at first but I have come to realize it was a smart decision because you have to think about what could have happened. Left you hanging with a slack jaw”

Montmorency is always in some kind of trouble when he is just really ready to be a good person. Full of twists and turns and leave you wanting to read more. This is #4 and it leaves you waiting for #5.”
