i have never read a book by any other author that tugs my heart and my head in so many directions. Weiner writes exactly what real life is like. she's amazing and i will forever be a fan.

I just finished reading GOOD IN BED and had such high hopes for Cannie and her new life with Joy. Since I was looking for a little entertainment and escape, reading about how Joy was turning out didn't sit well, probably because I'm the mother of a teenage daughter--the trip into Certain Girls was just too frustrating for me! Think I'll save this one for another time . . .

I was bummed by the ending because I'm a hopeless romantic...but in the end I'm okay with the author's choice. All in the all, the book was great although I wanted to slap Joy every once in a while...typical teenager!

I agree with the folks that say Jennifer Weiner's writing continues to mature. I love her wit and creativity. I can't wait for her next novel. I listened to a libary lecture she gave in Pennsylvania and LOVED it...she's a natural comedianne!

    Kudos, Jen!
