“1) Midnight Confessions by Robyn Carr - So typical of her writing, I loved it! 5 stars. Many of the "regulars" are either mentioned or in the story, and a new couple - two people who had been "dumped", meet on New Year's eve. Wonderful, funny and serious discussions with such hopefulness.
2) Midnight Surrender by Jean Brashear - 5 stars - An excellent story with lots of sexual tension, fun to read. A "shark lawyer", Jordan Parrish had no use for any man except for a quick lay and then a brush-off. But when her friend introduced her to a big Irish carpenter who worked his charm on her, all bets were off!
3) Midnight Assignment - 3 stars - Sorry, this didn't grab me, for some reason. I think it was the "assignment", but I'm not sure. After the first two stories (they wre so great!) I was disheartened to say the least, and tried to enjoy this story - but it never happened.”
