• Arthur Campbell: "Ranger"- a spy for Robert the Bruce and a covert member of his Highland Guards. He has dark, wavy brown hair, amber eyes and is the youngest of the six Campbell brothers.
• Anna MacDougall: Daughter of John MacDougall, Arthur's enemy. She's 22-years old and has golden brown hair and blue eyes.
• Robert the Bruce: King of Scotland, headed the fight to free Scotland from England's rule. Created the Highland Guards as his secret weapon in the war against England.
