Jessica has spent her whole life running, until on a bus riding back to their school after the track meet, where she just got her fastest running time yet, their bus is hit and there is a huge accident. Jessica has to lose her right leg, which means she can never run again. When Jessica finally gets the courage to go back to school, she is in a wheelchair with her best friend Fiona pushing her around. Jessica finally gets her prosthetic leg from a doctor named Hank. After she gets her new leg, her track team gives her the dream of running again, with a prosthetic running leg. Jessica learns the leg will cost thousand of dollars. And sjhe wonders if she will ever run again.
