- Agatha Clay: A struggling inventor studying at Transylvania Polygnostic University.
- Sleipnir: A friendly spark who is a student aboard Castle Wulfenback.
- Gilgamesh Wulfenbach: A powerful spark and recently revealed heir to the Wulfenbach empire.
- Klaus Wulfenbach: The Baron whose empire currently contains the majority of Europa. A powerful spark, he was a one-time companion of the Heterodyne boys, but now spends his days administering his territory and keeping the peace with an iron hand.
- Von Pinn: Nanny for all the children aboard Castle Wulfenback, romantic desire of all the Jagers. Most of her history is unknown, but she is not one to be crossed lightly.
- Dr. Beetle: Agatha's supervisor and mentor at Transylvania Polygnostic University. Also known as the Tyrant of Beetleburg, he is the master of the university and of the city which surrounds it.
