“The second book in the series Infernal Devices had me at the first chapter. I can't quite pick out what I love about this series. The love story behind the main plot is definitely something that sparked my interest. I also think the strange fairy tale elements made me want to continue reading to better understand what their world is like. This book definitely shed some light onto the downworld and cleared up some of the confusion the first book left. I'm also glad that it didn't leave Will's secret uncovered. I was almost relieved becuase now the author is required to add conflict in some other way for the next two books. I'm really excited to start the next book in the series. I highly recommend this book!”

I’m not sure if this was the best book of the series for me, but it was the one I read the quickest, the hungriest, the I-can’t-stop-reading-this-one est. This book is where I finally understood Will and truly fell in love with him. But this is also where I learned to love Jem with Tessa. Jem and Tessa.

Oh, decisions, decisions. But that is not their biggest problem at the moment. The Magister is still at large, and now that his identity is reveled he will be even harder to find. And Tessa, Tessa wants answers. She wants to know who she is and what she is for.

“This is my second time reading it, and I enjoyed it more the second time around. Shadowhunters are trying to uncover The Magister's end game and motive. You learn about Will's curse. There's betrayal. Love triangle (which I could do without) and ends with action and pain. ”
