- Alison Arngrim: The author. She is also an actress and comedienne. She played Nellie Oleson on Little House on the Prairie.
- Bob: Alison Arngrim's husband
- Stefan Arngrim: Brother of Alison.
- Thor Arngrim: Alison's father and business manager.He started out working for Seymour Heller and Assoc. but eventually formed his own company.
- Norma Macmillan: Alison's mother. Norma was the daughter of a prominent Vancouver, BC (Canada) OB-GYN. She was the voice of Gumby and Casper, the Friendly Ghost as well as numerous other children's characters.
- Michael Landon: Played Charles Ingalls on Little House on the Prairie
- Melissa Gilbert: Played Laura Ingalls Wilder on Little House on the Prairie. Onscreen she and Alison were enemies; offscreen, they often hung out together and became good friends.
- Melissa Sue Anderson: Played Mary Ingalls Kendall on Little House on the Prairie. She and Alison never bonded as castmates or friends.
- Richard Bull: Played Nels Oleson, Nellie's father on Little House on the Prairie
- Katherine MacGregor: Played Harriet Oleson, Nellie's Mother on Little House on the Prairie. She often tried to direct other castmembers. She and Alison made an in-costume appearance at a school together by request of the school.
