The wild cat Clans have lived in peace and harmony for many moons- but now, strange messages from their warrior ancestors speak of terrifying new prophecies and a mysterious danger. All the signs point to young warrior Brambleclaw as the cat with the fate of the forest in his paws. But who are the other cats mentioned in the prophecy? All he knows for sure is that the strength and courage of the greatest warriors will be needed now, as the quest to save the Clans begins.
Firestar: Led LionClan to battle against BloodClan to take back the forest. Goes on a quest to find a lost Clan. After Firestar received the prophecy about the fire and the tiger from Cinderpelt and Leafpaw, he tried to keep Brambleclaw and Squirrelpaw away from each other. He tried hard, for he thought danger would come to the Clan if they could see each other. After many attempts to keep the two cats away from each other, he failed. Firestar was very stressed out after the disappearance, and sent many patrols out to find the two. At the end of Midnight, Firestar and a couple other cats witnessed one of the first monsters that traveled away from the Thunderpath, and sent the first damage to ThunderClan territory.
Brambleclaw: hes a warrior but to know he is sent to fulfil the new prochecy
Sorreltail: Brambleclaw reveals that Sorrelpaw was hit by a Twoleg monster. It was only a glancing blow to her shoulder, but it was enough to keep her in Cinderpelt's den for three moons. During her absence from training, her brothers Rainpaw and Sootpaw become warriors, their warrior names being Rainwhisker and Sootfur. Sorrelpaw becomes a warrior early in this book, being named Sorreltail. She is good friends with Leafpaw because of being in her den so long, and helps her when she can. She later accompanies Leafpaw when she collects celandine near the RiverClan border.
Thornclaw: ThunderClan warrior and mentor to Shrewpaw
Rainwhisker: ThunderClan warrior; brother to Sorreltail and Sootfur
Sandstorm: ThunderClan warrior; Firestar's mate; mother to Squirrelpaw and Leafpaw
“"I was chasing a vole." Squirrelpaw sounded exasperated. “Dappletail said she fancied one, so I thought I’d better oblige, seeing that Firestar seems to want me to feed the elders, like, forever. It ran under here, and I thought there was room for me to run after it.” “There isn’t,” Brambleclaw pointed out helpfully. "I know that now, mouse-brain! Do something!"”
Squirrelpaw! Brambleclaw groaned inwardly. Firestar’s daughter, eight moons old, recently apprenticed—and the biggest nuisance in ThunderClan.

“Darkness, air, water, and sky will come together, and shake the forest to its roots,” the first cat went on. “Nothing will be as it is now, nor as it has been before.”
