Fashionista of the fanged, Gina Covello, and her boyfriend Bobby are sent undercover to infiltrate a New York high school where some seriously weird stuff is going down. Worse than that, Gina’s new super-secret identity is as goth-girl Geneva Belfry. No color palette to speak of. More chains than a bike rack. And don't even get her started on the shoes. At least she won’t be too worried about blood spatter when kicking the butt of her newest nemesis, who’s decided that the high school makes a perfect playground.

  • Gina Covello: Working for the FBI, she is a goth girl undercover. She is a vampire, having been bitten by Bobby and having bitten Rick. Her only special ability is resistance to mind manipulations (she only lets Bobby in) Main character, with story told in her POV.
  • Bobby Delvecchio: Working for the FBI, he is a geek undercover. As Gina's boyfriend, he is also a vampire, having bitten her. He is a skilled telepath and telekinetic, making him sought after by the Vampire Council.
  • Rick Lopez: Works for the FBI. Bitten by Gina, he has not yet transformed into a vampire. He and Gina have issues.
  • Maya: An FBI agent working undercover as Bobby's and Rick's mother.
  • Sid: An FBI agent working undercover as Bobby's and Rick's father.
  • Alistaire: A psychotic vampire who is after Bobby and Gina. He is the defient son of Rasputin.
  • Rasputin: Main villan, and the father of Alistaire
  • Lily: One of the goths Gina befriends. Likes dabbling in magic.
  • Ulric: One of the goths Gina befriends. He is the first of the clique to meet Gina and is into her.
  • Bella: One of the goths Gina befriends. A talented singer who is bulimic.
  • Bram: One of the goths. Injured during a fight on behalf of defending Bella. Gina feels responsible for him as she could not stop the fight in time.
  • Gavin: One of the goths, who Lily is into.
  • Byron: One of the goths.
  • Hailee: A cheerleader, head of a mean girl clique.
  • Teresa: One of the vampire's victims and consquently a recruit.
  • Tyler: One of the vampire's victims and consquently a recruit.
  • Dimitri: One of Bella's accomplices.
