Summary edit see section history

Psychic teenagers Ever and Damen face down bitter rivals, jealous friends and their own worst fears--all in the hope of being together forever.

Characters edit see section history

  • Ever Bloom: Can read the thoughts and auras of others after being saved by Damen from a horrible accident that claimed the lives of the rest of her family. Her major weakness is her lack of discernment and misuse of information which will hinder her as she stumbles on the path to the truth about her past, present, and future.
  • Damen Auguste Esposito: An Immortal and Ever's soul mate who has been falling in love with Ever over and over again over the last 600 years. Has lots of secrets that he finally tells Ever.
  • Jude Knight: Ever's former boss and new best friend. He has romantic feelings for her and has always been a part of her past lives.
  • Roman: One of the original orphans from Damen's mortal life. Damen gave him the elixir to save him from an illness that would have killed him, however Roman resents Damen for abandoning him as well as the rest of the immortals, and vows to seek revenge on him and his true love, Ever.
  • Miles: One of Ever's best friends who is gay and loves to perform in theater.
  • Ava: A psychic who helps Ever find the truth about her past, present, and future.
  • Romy: The "sweet" twin. She and her sister, Rayne, helped Ever in Summerland and became trapped in the Earth plane when they tried to save Damen from Roman.
  • Rayne: Romy's twin sister who is the exact opposite in both personality and dress.
  • Honor: Stacia's best friend and second in command who plots a social revolution after Stacia tried to sleep with her former (and secretly gay) exboyfriend. Through classes with Jude, Stacia learns magic, though she is not that adept at working it.
  • Craig: Honor's ex-boyfriend who is secretly gay.
  • Stacia Miller: The Queen of the school and Ever's constant tormentor.
  • Sabine: Ever's aunt and legal guardian. Works as a lawyer.
  • Munoz: Ever's history teacher and Sabine's boyfriend.

  • Misa: An immortal made by Roman. Used to work in his store and hang out with Haven
  • Marco: An immortal made by Roman. Used to work in Roman's store and hang out with Haven.

Quotes edit see section history

  • “And would you like me to come over and pretend to be your perfectly normal boyfriend? I can do a pretty good imitation of that. I've played the part many times, had over four hundred years of experience so far.”
    Damen
  • “So, how's school going this year? I haven't seen you around much - if at all." "Well, that's probably because I've pretty much skipped every day but the first. In fact, other than that, I haven't gone at all." "Ah. Bad case of senioritis, I guess. Usually doesn't start until the last semester, that's when it all falls apart. But it looks like you caught the bug early.”
    Mr. Munoz & Ever
  • “O-kay...and just what brand of illegal are we talking here? Larceny, bribery, usery, or some other illegal act that ends with a y?”
    Miles
  • “This is what senior year is supposed to be like. You know, ditching classes, playing hooky, having fun, indulging in a little illegal activity-”
    Miles
  • “It all comes down to your intention. when you put all your focus on a problem, you just get more of the problem. But if you put your focus on being of help, then your energy is directed toward the help instead of the problem. <skipped> So basically, whenever you're looking for a solution, you are feeling positive emotion - and whenever you're looking at the problem, you're feeling negative emotion, which, as you know, never gets us anywhere. But once you take your focus off yourself and your wants, and instead turn it toward how getting what you want might also benefit someone else, well then, you can't help but succeed. <skipped> That's the key behind any success.”
    Ava
  • “I can't talk you out of this, can I?" I shake my head again. "Then I'm going with you." "Going where? I haven't admitted to going anywhere." "Aw, maybe not, but a plan is surely forming, I can see it in your eyes.”
    Damen & Ever
  • “You've become increasingly comfortable with the breaking and entering, should I be concerned?”
    Damen Auguste
