• Norris "Norrie" Sullivan: The oldest Sullivan sister, whose confession is about love. She is mature and responsible.
• Jane Sullivan: The middle Sullivan sister. She is kind of the the rebel in the family and always does things that are frowned upon. Has the blog myevilfamily.com, and that's what her confession centers around.
• Sassy Sullivan: The youngest Sullivan sister. Her confession is about how she thought she was above death because of a few incidents.
• Almighty: Their grandmother, who is very strict and almost never shows her love. She is the reason the girls write the confessions.
• Takey Sullivan: A younger boy, the youngest member of the Sullivan clan.
• St. John Sullivan: The oldest in the family, he's living in New York for most of the book.
• Sully Sullivan: Second oldest to St. John, is also away at college for most of the book.
• Robbie: Norrie's love interest, who she met at night speed-reading class, and who is eight years older than she is.
• Brooks Overbeck: A boy that Almighty makes Norrie go to the Coitillon with, since Almighty and Brooks's grandmother go way back.
