“While I enjoyed this book, I found it slower than the first book in the series and the mystery wasn't as exciting. however, I will read the next one to discover what happens to Mary and James, now that he knows she is a convicted criminal. I must say I really like the front covers for this series, they capture the mood and time period perfectly.”
