Diary of a Wimpy Kid is about a kid's life in school and out of school. On Halloween, his friend Rowley dressed as Superman and he dressed as a lazy man. At school there was some rotten cheese and started the cheese touch. At the end, it showed that he was so much of a wimpy kid. He made some stupid events. Many ridiculous events happen. You might laugh once on every one page! Or not.

Characters edit see section history

  • Gregory Heffley: Greg is getting into his new school and finds it hard to adjust. He has only one friend, Rowley. Greg's life is very funny, he records everything in his diary. Greg is a total dork and everyone in his school thinks he is lame. He thinks very highly of himself though.
  • Rowley Jefferson: Gregory's best friend. Rowley embarrasses Greg by acting like a preschooler, and Greg treats Rowley like a follower, not a friend. Greg treats Rowley more like a sidekick than a best friend, though. Rowley is said to be childish and has a mind like a 5 year old. Rowley is an only child.
  • Susan Heffley: Susan Heffley is Greg's mother who is described (by Greg) as almost nothing more than an annoying pain. She tries hard to be a good, loving, dedicated mother and wife, but she turns out to just be embarrassing.
  • Frank Heffley: Greg's dad. Like Susan, he also spoils Manny. Frank doesn't really like Greg's laziness and his hobby of playing video games.
  • Manny Heffley: Manny is Greg's younger brother and is even more spoiled than both Rodrick and Greg combined, is a tattletale and loves candy. Manny is extremely selfish, mean, bratty, greedy and phobic. And he calls Greg names and does not get in trouble. His mom never yells at him and is immune to getting in trouble. And he is SCARED of the "Potty Monster".
  • Rodrick Heffley: Rodrick is Greg's older brother. Lazy, greedy, stupid, and a bit cruel. He likes to torture Greg, although he is smart enough to not to mess up with Manny. The drummer of the band "Loded Diper".
  • Collin Lee: Rowley's substitute best friend.
  • Shane Snella: The first volunteer for Greg and Rowley's haunted house.
  • Bryce Anderson: The most popular kid in school at Greg's middle school.
  • Preston Mudd: The athlete of the month in Greg's Middle School.
  • Chirag Gupta: One of the shortest kids in 6th grade.
  • Fregley: School nutter and immature dude. Weird kid. Greg hates him.

He had a teenager do it and they all chased him and he got away. They did it again to a little kid and when tried the third time the little kid was too fast for them and got the dollar before they could pull it down.”
  • “My mom got this for me so I could write my feelings down." Greg's Mom got him this Diary so he could write how he feels in/about middle school. but Greg uses it to write what happens during his 1st year in middle school.”

Glossary edit see section history

  • Cheese Touch: Noun. A taboo of touching a horribly rancid cheese on the basketball court of your school, hence causing people to avoid you. You can pass on this cheese touch to another by simply touching that other person, and that person to another, and the cycle goes on. The only way to avoid receiving the cheese touch is to keep your fingers crossed as one attempts to pass it to you.
  • Twisted Wizard: A video game that Greg and Rowley play.
