A man returns to his small New Jersey home town, after many years, to mourn the passing of his boyhood chum. A certain wistful feeling of guilt accompanies him about having moved on to a career in New York and cutting all ties to the people he left behind. When he leaves his New York apartment and his wife and kids for a weekend trip, he lingers for a week with the nagging feeling that his friend's fall off a local cliff may not have been the accident everyone claims it is.

He immediately hooks up with his old flame, the victim's sister, while the strength of his marriage and his wife's trust are tested each day that he extends his stay.

When his car is vandalized and bullets start flying his fears are validated but he's still got to find the hidden lair of an evil group.

  • Isabel: Richie's wife.
