When Meghan was left hostage in the winter kingdom, she didnt talk to anyone in weeks, intill one day Queen Mab called to talk to her, she told her she could venture around but not leave the kingdom and Meghan agreed. At the meeting Rowan, Sage, and Ash 3 princes) Ash acted like he didnt care about maghan but deep down he did he just didnt want Mab to use that aginst them and banish them. So when Meghan is accused of steeling the Septer of the Seasons, and killing Sage, Ash takes her away out of the kingdom. In search for the septer of the seasons they meet up with Puck! when they are resting in a smaill castle looking thing Ash thinks he sees something in between Puck and Meghan. So he leaves, and is taking captive by the iron fey. So they turn to Leanan Sidhe, the exile queen to help them find the septer and Ash. the iron kingdoms new, false king has it somwhere in the mortal world. Puck and Meghan, and Ironhorse ( a servant to meghan) save ash and rescue the septer, and give it back to the winter kingdom and stop the war. only to find that Meghan and ash are banished to the mortal world because they declared there love.

  • Virus: One of the former Iron King's lieutenants. She can controle little metal bugs that take over human minds.

  • Ms. Stacy: A Summer court subject, a healer, glamourized as a school nurse at Albany High.
  • Scott Waldron: Quarterback at Albany High. Forgets who Meghan is.
  • Ethan: Meghan's half-brother. Can see through mist.
  • Ariella: Ash's former girlfriend, died because of Puck.
  • Prince Ash: One of three princes of the Winter Court, the youngest and therefore the most naïve. He falls for Meghan, the daughter of King Oberon, ruler of the Summer Court. Unfortunately for the two 'star-crossed lovers,' the Summer and Winter Courts aren't on the greatest of terms.
  • Edgebriar: One of Rowan's thornknights.
  • Luke: Meghan's step-father. Often forgets that megan ever lived.
  • Machina: The former Iron King. He was killed in the previous book by Meghan. Keeps coming to megan in her dreams.
  • Mr. Delany: One of Meghan's old school teachers.
