• Nick Gautier: Main character. Poor sarcastic fourteen year old with strange powers he's only now realizing. He carries the destruction or salvation within a heart consumed by anger
• Nekoda "Kody" Belam: Immortal sent to keep tabs on Nick and keep him on the right path or kill him if he turns evil. The girl that nick forms a "crush" on. She is starting to like him too.
• Caleb Malphas: A demon enslaved to the Malachai and sent to guard Nick
• Cherise Nicole Gautier: Nick's mother
