Didn’t Like It

I really, really disliked this book. It seems more suited to an audience of high-powered, secular CEO types rather than to the undershepherds of Christ's Body.

Almost no Scripture, very little Christian grace. Lots of hard-nosed visioneering with more quotes from "Neutron Jack" Welch...

This was the book that pushed me to plant a church. A must read before planting a church.

BUY it at www.bookworm.ph. The Philiipines' online bookstore

I read this book because it was our small group material along with the pastors of our church. What I like about the book is the part where Bill Hybels said that the local church is the hope of the world. Which is really true, if ne need to change the world and in our culture, it would all start with the local church doing their role. And that means all members doing God's mandate for us, which is to make disciples and teaching them to obey Gods word.

Almost no Scripture, very little Christian grace. Lots of hard-nosed visioneering with more quotes from "Neutron Jack" Welch (former GE CEO) than the King of kings, Lord of lords and Shepherd of the flock.
