“Erik's story is...bigger than this book. I read this book in about a day. I couldn't put it down. The adventures that he and his friends experienced are enough to keep you turning the pages. But the heartbreaking loss of his brother puts the whole book into perspective. At the end, you find the best thing about this book. It allows you to ask questions but more importantly, it allows you to come to terms with existing in this world without answers.”

“How many people live passionately? Erik Mirandette does, and this book is his proof. It is his raw account of passion, dirt bikes, and the continent of Africa. Don't read it unless you want to change your thinking on dreaming, family, adventure, and even God himself. Six word review= Lived the dreams God gave him.”

“This is a fantastic book. I read it in two days and honestly could not put it down. Erik's journey is inspiring and tragic, but it made me realize that one person truly can make a difference in this world, it's just a matter of getting out there and actually doing something. I highly recommend this book!”
