This is the most valuable book I have read to date since declaring my psychology major. Skinner's ideas are some of the most poorly understood in psychology, and most often misquoted, and this book does a good job of clarifying many of the misunderstandings. Skinner does not have the strongest writing style, which can make this book difficult to digest in many places (and I do mean many), but the dedicated reader who takes their time and pays close attention will learn invaluable lessons about what exactly Skinnerian behaviorism has to offer, and where it stand on a variety of psychological topics. Everyone psychology major, behaviorist or otherwise, should read this book.
