We get to learn a lot about Ranger and his life outside of Bond Enforcement. A lot of little clues about our Batman/Rambo that I wasn't expecting.
I really like the story line in this one. There isn't just one skip Stephanie is going after. Adding Junkman to the mix really took up the anticipation.
However, I do wish Lula had been in more of the end, rather than just the first half. She is one of my favorite characters. ”
“I don't know how Janet Evanovich does it, but the Stephanie Plums books just keep getting better and better and Ten Big Ones is no exception. Stephanie Plum gets into more than she can handle, once again, and even though I know there are more books following this one, I was actually extremely concerned for Stephanie's life. Not only that, but, Ranger has more of an appearance in this one as well, which is always a plus in my opinion.
As usual, the characters are lively and interesting, the plot is extremely well thought out and literally will keep you glued to the book. I could not put this book down and I definitely did not want it to end as soon as it did. Especially since the latter half of the book has a lot of Ranger-Stephanie scenes. I also really liked this book because it felt a little more real. It deals with gangs in Trenton and the threat of gangs, which is a real threat to most communities nowadays. On the other hand, I also liked it because it had a sense of fiction, not many people, especially bounty hunters, would find themselves on a hit list from a guy coming all the way across the United States just to kill them and a few other people. Just a little on the extreme side.
As I said, these books are just getting better and better as I read them and I hope that they continue to do so. I highly recommend them because of the characters and the stories and I hope that some day everyone will have read them and enjoyed them. These books are as great as books can get and you're definitely missing out if you haven't started reading them yet. ”
“This book is built around the ruthlessness of gangs. Stephanie becomes the target of a killer brought in from the west coast by local gang member to off Stephanie. There's no place to run and no place to hide. A really scary look into gang membership and the prevalence of gang activity around our country. ”

Love how easy these are to read, how I can picture just how it all goes down (and wish myself into the storyline) and the genuine laugh out loud sections. Onto number 11!”
