“Stephanie Plum is down to her last cents. She has no job, she has hocked her furniture, and her car has just been repossessed. Her mother suggests she goes to see her cousin Vinny who needs a receptionist. When she arrives, she is informed that position has been filled, but they need a bounty hunter. She takes the job to find her high school friend Joe, for a finder's fee of $10,000. While trying to coerce him to come in, she apprehends a couple other felons, and gets herself into some tough situations.
I had wanted to read this book for a while, and when the movie came out I decided I had to read the book before watching the movie. However, this story was very slow paced with a bunch of junk in the middle. It needed to get where it got quicker. Not sure if I am going to continue the series.”
