Diana Wynne Jones does a wonderful job of getting into the students of 6B's heads, and there are some serious laugh out loud moments in this book, as well as some uncontrollable grins. Chrestomanci shows up late in the book, but of course he adds his usual flare to the situation. A great read, and a fast one at that ... finished in a day.”

The trouble at larwood house boarding school starts when Mr Crossley finds a note amongst the geography books.
"SOMEONE IN THIS CLASS IS A WITCH"
It's written in ordinary blue ballpoint pen.
The scariest thing is it could be true because larwood house is a school for witch orphans!!!”
“Very good book-I read it when I was younger but now I just read it when I want something good to read. Tad confusing but all around good book.”
