*spoiler probably* I didn't really like the way it ended with Link and Ridley and possibly, Macon. And how Lena was different in this book from the previous one... she wasn't the girl that I proclaimed as my favorite character. But all in all, still really like this book. More or less.

"I began reading the 2nd book of the series and tell now I am enjoying it. There is this beautiful charm of Gatlin that I ❤ed in the first book, and I ❤ed that Lena is turning da...rk or so I think, But what I don't like is her hurting Ethan who ❤s her dearly, but if everything is goodie-goodie then it would be a horrible book, I believe the charm of these two books lays in its darkness. Dark setting, Dark characters, even the good ones seem Dark... I just ❤ it. The Book contained so many surprises!!! Great ones!! I ❤ Lena and Ethan together, but I really like Liv too... part of me wanted to see what might happen between Ethan and Olivia. Liv reminds me of Ethan's mom Lila Jane. I want to see what will happen with Ridley and Link, and what's up with John Breed and the Paris shoes?!posted 2 years ago.

You know i feel the same way. I was so torn btwn wanting Lena to be light and then curious as to what her being dark would be like. I also kept leaning towards Liv too. But loved that Lena pulled through and came back to Ethan. I hated Ridley though she just pissed me off.
