“Good book for an overview on genetics. Definitely brought me back to my high school and college biology classes. Lacks scientific jargon which makes it easy for the lay person to comprehend. Ridley does seem to get lost in his own thoughts and rabblings which makes it seem convoluted at times. Overall it's a pretty decent read. ”
“this is not ur average run of the mill book but if u understand basic biology and genetics, it is awesome. the book unfolds each chromosome and the gene selected and stuns us with new insights. i just savour the chapters slowly ( rather like eating a good chocolate dessert) and go back again so i dont miss something!”
