“I'm not sure how I feel about this book. It's very depressing and dark. The author's mother is a paranoid schizophrenic who is just functional enough to avoid placement in facility that might help her. Life is hell for her daughters. If you're feeling low, avoid this book; or, maybe it will put your particular hell in perspective. Who knows.”
