That is exactly what happens to Jason in this adventure-filled story. The students on the bus are troublemakers from the Wilderness School on their way to the Grand Canyon for an outing but once they arrive Jason, Piper (who he thinks is his girlfriend) and Leo (apparently his best friend) are attacked by storm spirits. They are rescued by their coach, who is a satyr in disguise and the three teens are whisked away to Camp Half-Blood where they are told that they are demigods, the children of a human and a god or goddess. They are tasked with the dangerous quest of rescuing Hera before the summer solstice in 3 days time or the gods of Olympus will be dethroned. Their adventure is full of mythological characters come to life as well as a wonderful mechanical flying dragon named Festus. The three teens face the dangers together strenghtening their friendship and their relationships with their Olympian parents.
This was such a lot of fun on audio. The reader, Joshua Swanson, does a great job with many different voices. I will definitely listen to the next one when it is pulbished later this year.

“This is a great book and i loved it but it was too predictable. Like i knew what was going to happen. This is haunted and you are going to tell Jason that your dad is ___________. On the other hand this book was exciting and intense. I give it 4 stars. but i'm gonna favorite it.”

So far his Greek mythology books have yet to disappoint me. I anxiously await to finish this series & hope to devour it as quickly as his Percy Jackson series!!”

It constantly keeps you wanting more. In the beginning Jason, who dosen't know hes Jason is on a bus with people that he dosen't know. In the other peoples minds the had a past with jason. As they go on they fond that the memories were fake and had been put in their minds by other forces. As the book goes on the three encounter many more serious problems that seem to keep the story going strong. I recommend this book to people who enjoy greek mythology.”

He doesn’t remember anything before waking up on a school bus holding hands with a girl. Apparently she’s his girlfriend Piper, and his best friend is a kid named Leo, and they’re all students in the Wilderness School, a boarding school for “bad kids.” What he did to end up here, Jason has no idea—except that everything seems very wrong.
Piper has a secret. Her father has been missing for three days, and her vivid nightmares reveal that he’s in terrible danger. Now her boyfriend doesn’t recognize her, and when a freak storm and some strange creatures attack during a school field trip, she, Jason, and Leo are whisked away to someplace called Camp Half-Blood. What is going on?”
