  • Snow Rose: Snow Rose is a member of the Cheronee tribe, a tribe of Native Americans with a village not far from Sundown City. She is the daughter of Mighty Bear, the tribe's chief.
  • William Johnstone: William "One-Arm Bill" Johnstone is a nefarious outlaw known for robbing banks, stagecoaches, and saloons throughout the west. He is wanted in numerous states.
  • Mighty Bear: Mighty Bear is the chief of the Cheronee tribe. His daughter is Snow Rose.
  • Deputy: Deputy is John Westwood's horse. He is the fastest horse in the west.
  • Plays with Fire: Plays with Fire is Snow Rose's older brother. He is a brave warrior but is extremely hot-headed at times.
  • Swift One: Swift One is Plays with Fire's horse. He is almost as fast as Deputy.
