“This was a good book. I sometimes found it very repetitious and such, but it is one of the first stories ever written, haha. I read this for my history class and I did enjoy it. I think I would have definitely read it in my spare time. A good, short read.”

“A terrific read, if you have time. The text is very complex and will most likely need to be read twice or very slowly. The character development is phenomenal along with the plot line. A very in depth story involving the gods and mythical creatures. At the same time, it is a very educational read about the creation of civilization.”

“I should preface this by saying that I read the Sin-leqi-unninni version, but ... it sucked. I will say that from the comparative snippets quoted from the Old Babylonian, it seems like there might be a better/not-quite-as-blowy version. Still, I'm rating the book in front of me, and it is not any good at all.”
