The book “Half Brother" was about a teenager named Ben Tomlin. Ben Tomlin has been the only child for 13 years. His father and mother are both scientists. His parents bring home a baby chimpanzee named Zan to raise like a human and teach him sign language. At this point Ben's life had turned upside down. The chimpanzee was expected to be treated exactly like a human. This meant dressing up in clothes, eating food, being loved, having a room full of toys and books and etc. Once everyone in the house got settled with living with a chimp, Ben's opinion on him also changed he started loving him and treating him like a real brother. This project was successful until Ben's father realized that Zan was not learning anything and the project was failing. Since the project failed Chimp had to go back somewhere else or sell him which made Ben sad. So they decided to send him to a new place which they sold off to an animal test lab. After a day the chimp was stolen and that the owner said he will sue the family if they didn't return Chimp. So later on Zan was brought back and few days later he was sent to a sanctuary where he was safe. This is the summary on Half Brother.
