AGAIN Patterson had me hooked even through all the holiday activities. I really started this book reluctantly because I was so busy with the holiday but finished it in 2 days! A must read for Patterson fans!

Rags to riches kinda story with a twist. Set in Florida.

Kept me interested. First decent Patterson/Ledwidge in a while.

Very good edge of your seat book, although the end was pretty graphic.

The beginning of the story is a flashback, where the main character Nina bloom remembers a terrible event in her past in which she had killed a man. She then marries the policeman who had let her go with the murder and later learns he is a murderous psychopath and leaves him while he was at work.
