Cold Fire takes place in Kugisko, a city in the northern country of Namorn.
  • Kugisko, Namorn: Kugisko is a city made up of many islands. During the summer citizens travel between the islands using small boats, but the story takes place in winter, so the canals are frozen and the people travel using sleighs and skates. Many of the houses are made of wood, and recently the city has had a problem with fires.
