- Quarryville, Pennsylvania: Salem Road is just southeast of Quarryville, the closest major town.
- Bridle Path Lane: A precarious road that rims a rocky ravine, and a shortcut the locals use when heading to Quarryville. This is the site of Emma Kauffman's accident.
