“The title poem is one of my favorite of all time, but it doesn't reflect the overall content of the book, which is in large part woman-centered. Her art is so good, however, that it wasn't the least bit difficult for me to read through the book quickly, even though the topics of many of the poems don't speak to me as deeply as those of other poets.”
