Another fun whodunit in the world of 2060 NYC by J.D. Robb. This ones starts with Lieutenant Eve Dallas and Rourke taking a vacation to Ireland to see Roarke's family. Of course there has to be a murder and Eve helps a young policeman get his bearings on it in a little Irish village. Return to NY and things are heating up with a series of ID thefts and murders. The CEOs of two large, influential companies steal the IDs of some of their employees to commit murders. The catch is that each commits the other's murders (like "Strangers on a Train"). The one not committing the murder has an airtight alibi to try to throw off suspicion. All the usual Cop Central characters are in this one as Eve tries to tie the murders and murderers together. The CEOs are very good at these crimes and this is not the first time they've done this. It has become a competition between the two and the stakes get higher each time. Their ultimate prey is Eve Dallas, since she is the best at what she does and that's the point of their game. All of their victims are the tops in their field. I enjoyed the cat and mouse of this one and liked the ending, since it wasn't the typical one of these books. If you want fun, silly and a good murder mystery, read this book. I always enjoy them for light reading.

Lieutenant Eve Dallas and her husband Roarke are back in NYC after a two week vacation in Ireland and Venice. Eve barely had time to get settled in her Homicide Squad office than her 'link buzzed her and she was off again, seeking a killer who set up his hits and used unusual weapons to finish the job. I found this to be one of J.D. Robb's best in this series.

Nine people are dead just that Eve knows of, there may be many more. She must stop one or more killers before the body count rises, perhaps even adding her own to that. This was an extremely good book, as are all of J.D. Robb's books in this series.

These books are like comfort food. An interesting crime story and Eve Dallas' fabulous sarcasm. Win win win!

This was a solid, and fast paced, Dallas novel. It opens with Eve & Roarke on vacation in Ireland and has some really sweet moments between the two. The killers in this book hunt people for sport & to compete against each other as to who is the better killer.

More of the same. You know who did it at least half way through the books. The "who" left SO many clues to their identity that you had to wonder if they just wanted to be caught. This one felt tedious.
