I just picked this up at the bookstore and started reading it, and I LOVED it. Although there were times when I got lost or it was bland, but there are those with any book really.

Ive been reading this for 3 days and have to say that although i generally do not like historical fiction too much, the intertwining of the now and then is making it very engaging.

It helps if one has an interest in the old religious wars of the middle ages and an interest in religious symbols. The reincarnation/remembrance aspects were nicely woven in to drive the plot. I found the author a skilled storyteller with the ability to entice the reader into a suspension of disbelief.

just got this book from a friend. she has bought it from a 2nd hand book shop. I am not really interested in the holy grail quest. but i want to know if the author can really hook me up into reading this.

I enjoyed the book over all. It was very detailed and well written. The only problem I had is that it was a little slow sometimes. It took me days longer to read it than it should have.
