“I'm enjoying this book more than the previous one. Karon's previous book had an annoying literary device where there would be dialogue, but no mention of who was talking. The research that the author has done gives this book more richness than those in the Mitford series. I love Jan Karon's writing. Her descriptions help me sink into the story. I especially appreciate her repeated message of being a blessing to others. ”
