“This story sucked me in rather quickly. I felt for Meg. One day she was a happy suburban mom the next day she has to sell everything and head for the hills with her screaming teenagers, frightened 9 year-old, and the man who brought ruin on them with his lies.
This story is SO different from the average Amish tale. It is about being stripped down to nothing and seeing that your family and your life still have value. It reminded me that sometimes really beautiful things can come out of life's tragedies.
