Summary and Review: This comic book is oddly about rodents in a pet shop and they’re crazy mysterious. Pets from the shop go missing and the mystery becomes centered on the thought of it being a ghost. People come in the shop in search of a pet but notice that all the name tags for the animals are not placed correctly like mice in a tank are labeled walrus for some reason. The night time comes in the pet shop and one of the guinea pig feel a weird chill on one of the isles, then notices the shadow of a weird creature. He automatically assumes it’s a ghost and drags Sasspants to attempt and solve the mystery. Sasspants is exhausted from hearing all the fake mysteries Hamshier comes up with just to get Sasspants on board for the fun games. But this time, Sasspants notices something is really happening and he finally joins and helps find out what exactly was going on. The mystery gets solved and it was simply a misunderstanding, not a ghost. Regardless, they give themselves a pat on the back for the great accomplishment that was done.
The comic strips in this comic book confused me a bit. I had to reread it twice to understand the story. I do like the colorful depictions presented throughout the book because when I think of comic books I think of black and white. But this graphic book was more on the cartoon side than anything. The story, for me, took a while to develop and a lot of things remained unclear to me. Towards the end of the book, they have corrections for the animals that were categorized wrongly in the book for readers.
