His corresponding pictures, his contrasting-connecting poems, his perspective...it is an orgasm for the mind!”

The poems set the world of happy childhood innocence and idyllic nature against the world of adult sin, corruption, and repression. They contrast the gentle virtue of “The Lamb” with the darker forces in “The Sick Rose” and “The Tyger”. The poems and their beautiful illustrations are simply irresistible.

“Blake is crazy! I usually don't like poetry, but this is worth it. Definitely a must read. As strange as Kafka. ”
