- Michelle: The main characters best friend. Like a big sister to Lynnie.
- Ashlyn (Lynnie): The main character, coping with mothers death and experiences the trances. Also is Kyra's sister
- Jake: A boy who works in the mall in his uncle's music store. Jake and Ashlyn are immediately drawn toward each other.
