• Evelyn "Evie": Lead character. Was taken in by the IPCA when she was younger after they found her alone in a cemetery being stalked by a paranormal. Can see through the glamours of paranormals. Seventeen years-old and loves the color pink.
• Lorethan "Reth": Evie's ex-mystery who is a faerie. Full faerie name is Lorethan. Evie can command him, but not very well.
• Lend Pirello: He is a paranormal that is caught and held in IPCA.
• Alisha "Lish": Evie's best friend; a mermaid who keeps her safe and looks out for her.
• Raquel: Runs Evie's chapter of IPCA. She is a mother figure for Evie.

• Landon: One of the main characters in Easton Heights.
• Steve: A vampire that Evie bags and tags in the first chapter.
• Charlotte: A werewolf with sad eyes who tutors Evie.
• John: A friend of Lend.

• “Oh, bleep.”

• “Oh relax." I waved my hand dismissively. "If he wanted to kill me, he already would have. I brought him all these sharp pencils, ideal for stabbing, and he's been a perfect gentleman.”

• “Why does everyone keep asking me that?" Seriously, did I look like some sort of pyscho assassin? Maybe it was the pink sneakers. Or the heart earrings?”

• “What a lovely balance. Lend shows whatever he wants the world to see and you see through whatever the world wants to show you.”

• “What do you think? Does this face make me look fat?”
