The cute innocent girl goes to the dark side. Sickest? She denounces a completely innocent man to the Iranian police to avoid getting sanctioned for wearing lipstick.

This is, obviously, book 2 of Satrapi's memoirs. In her first book, she was a young child living in Iran at the beginning of the Iranian Revolution. The story was told through the eyes of a child, which provided a unique picture of history.

This book begins after she is sent to Austria as a young teenager. Her parents wanted their only child to live in safety during the Iraqi-Iranian war. Unfortunately, in this book, the author comes across as a whiny-baby. She seems to confuse...

    Iranian young peoples like me,specially those who born and grow in a religious family must read this beautiful comic. with these book i can imagine days had been very lovely for some peoples in a country might be very dismal for another people of that region.
