Pretty good. It's a twist on the Fisher King tale, with the idea that every generation a new King/Queen/court arises and takes control of... um... Las Vegas? There's a lot of card playing and mystical stuff. The main character is Scott Crane, whose father tried to brainwash as a child but his mother rescued him, and he was raised by a foster father. It was pretty interesting, kind of like "American Gods" but more gritty. If you like that sort of supernatural quasi-religious sort of story...
