Gabriella is happy, and peaceful, and enjoying life.
She goes to school, and the Principal annouced that there was a Sadie Hawkins dance.
She wants to ask Troy, but after hearing the phone call her Mother makes, there are other things on here mind.
Troy waited and waited, but she didn't ask him. In the end, he gave into Sharpay and went with her instead.
This made Gabriella very upset, and hurt, too, she wonders why she didn't ask Troy before.
But at the Dance, two people are crowned Spirit Queen and Spirit King, it's not Sharpay, and it's not Troy, it's a very suprising person indeed...
