“This book disturbed me. Not by the violence or situation. It bothered me how Rupert could only think of bedding any of the women on the island. Then he would write about it. I found it strange/bizarre how that aspect of the story kept coming up. Overall the premise was good but I had a hard time dealing with his sexual preoccupation.”

“Pretty good... put off at first because it wasn't in his tradition style of writing. Still had a good twist though.”

I figured out who the killer was before it was told. The ending was figured out ahead of time by just how horny the hero was. If I read another Richard Laymon book put me in the nut house!”

“My very favorite Laymon book. The reason I enjoyed this so much is because my heart was constantly racing...so were my eyes. I couldn't read it quick enough. I have to say this is "the best" horror book ending I have ever read. One that makes you say "OMG" at the very end! ”
