Not bad. Saw the ending coming for a while, but only because I'm familiar with the author. First time readers will be in for a suprise!

This book disturbed me. Not by the violence or situation. It bothered me how Rupert could only think of bedding any of the women on the island. Then he would write about it. I found it strange/bizarre how that aspect of the story kept coming up. Overall the premise was good but I had a hard time dealing with his sexual preoccupation.

Pretty good... put off at first because it wasn't in his tradition style of writing. Still had a good twist though.

I hate Richard Laymon books. and yet I keep reading them. He draws me into a world of crazy characters and stupid plots. but I just keep on reading them. On a beautiful private island a killer is among a group of vacationers. I figured out who the killer was before it was told. The ending was figured out ahead of time by just how horny the hero was. If I read another Richard Laymon book put me in the nut house!

My very favorite Laymon book. The reason I enjoyed this so much is because my heart was constantly racing...so were my eyes. I couldn't read it quick enough. I have to say this is "the best" horror book ending I have ever read. One that makes you say "OMG" at the very end!

Richard Laymon (RIP) is a god, and this is one of his best novels. If you haven't read any Laymon, start here. You'll quickly discover if you can stomach his writing or not. :D
