After the traumatic events of the eclipse Caska is nothing more than a shell of her former self. Guts learns there are certain places those with the brand can remain with out being found by the demons of darkness, with Caska's curtain state of mind she must remain there to stay alive. With a few new weapons Guts decides it's time to take action and destroy those demons of darkness who have destroy everything he had cared about.

  • Guts: Black Swordsman. After the events of the eclipse the brand of the Sacrifice speaks to the creatures of darkness. Guts decides to hunt down those creatures to avenge his fallen comrades as well his traumatize love.
  • Caska: After the traumatic event's of the eclipse. She becomes a shell of her former self. She no longer remembers those who cares for her.
  • Rickett: A small boy who was a member of the Hawks was outside during the event of the eclipse.
  • Erica: Daughter of the Blacksmith.
  • Godo: A blacksmith.
  • Puck: a small Elf who follows Guts around. Always asking that Guts will do the right thing.
