I listed to this as an audiobook. It took me a bit to get into it, and it lost me a couple times during some of the stories on battles, but I enjoyed it overall, especially with the author reading it with all the different accents from all over Ireland.

    What an incredible read!!! It rates up there with The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings as books I will read more than once.
    I went right out and bought (at our local used book store, of course) another book by Mr Delaney....Tipperery...hoping for another great adventure.
