The best book I've read about baseball. Bob Costas' love the game shines through. His personal anecdotes and industry information are what drew me back to the game after a 7 year exile. I can honestly say that this book made me believe in baseball again despite the game's business side problems. Many of Costas' suggestions have been more completely explored by baseball as it transitioned back into the juggernaut it is today.
