This is not a sensationalized version of 9-11... Dwyer & Flynn have portrayed the events within the Towers that morning in such a way, that the reader can visualize the sheer terror and confusion and for many panic slowly turned to an individual acceptance their own mortality.

Haunting account of fight to survive inside the World Trade Center on 9/11. Unflinching and moving look at what went right and the things that went terribly wrong on that morning in September. From mechanical failures that resulted in the deaths of many that were stuck inside - awaiting rescues that would never come - to the hundreds that consistently called the Port Authority asking for instructions - begging for help, and due to massive communication breakdowns those manning the phones did NOT have up-to-date information - and as a result hundreds were stranded in offices...

Heartbreaking, but absolutely necessary.... this is a must read!
